65-74 year old female with basal cell carcinoma of the left nose and cheek. The patient underwent Mohs surgery and presented to the Plastic Surgery Clinic of Chicago for a nasal reconstruction. We used the nasal lining to reconstruct the mucosa, ear cartilage to support the nostril, and a flap from adjacent tissue to close the wound. As you can see from the post-operative photos, the patient has anatomical restoration of the nose and cheek.
