Secondary deep plane facelift + neck lift — 4 weeks post-op ✨
This patient had a lateral SMAS facelift 7 years ago and came back wanting to address soft tissue descent, jowling, and a jawline that had lost its definition over time.
For her revision, we performed:
🔹 Deep plane facelift — repositioning descended tissue and restoring volume up into the cheeks/malar region, not just pulling skin
🔹 Neck lift with submandibular gland reduction — for patients with prominent glands, this is often the missing piece for a truly smooth neck contour
🔹 Digastric muscle contouring — refining the submental angle for a cleaner jawline transition
At 4 weeks out: restored cheek volume, a well-defined jawline, and a smooth neck contour — with swelling still resolving.
